How do you find working as a translator? do you think that this is profitable and life-long occupation? After being a translator through the whole life a person is able to be called omniscient>

in my humble opinion translators as well as teachers should learn all the time. Obviously, the more you practise, the better you are, but nobody will be never dictionary

I cannot say that I always wanted to be a translator, but when I become, when I've got my diploma and started to work I finally realized that this occupation is more than intresting. While doing translations you will always find something new to learn. It is a work of the dream in some way. Even after many years of working as a translator, one will never leave dictionaries and other usefull things. Yeah, practice makes perfect, but in this occupation there is no end
